Professional Statement: Creative Leadership and the Road to HALF-SHIFT
Current Professional Work & Independent IP
I am currently a member of the creative team at Red Lion Studios, continuing my career in professional animation as an Art Director. Alongside my studio work, I am the Creator and Director of HALF-SHIFT, a Sci-Fi Fantasy action-adventure webcomic and animation project centered on werewolves.
HALF-SHIFT represents my return to independent production with a focus on streamlined, "fun-first" storytelling, utilizing my core workflow in Clip Studio Paint.

Boldbird Studios & Lionbound (2022–2023)
I joined Boldbird Studios in 2022, where I rapidly transitioned into the role of Art Director for Lionbound. In this capacity, I established the visual foundation for the series and led the artistic team. My studio contributions also included work on Blink and the Brute, FierceRacer, and Me and the Little Sea.
Following the studio's collapse in March 2023 due to systemic leadership failures, I took a two-year hiatus (2023–2025) to protect my creative well-being and process the loss of the community.
Legacy Projects & Traditional Craft
I am the Creator and Director of Picaroon, a project I independently developed for years prior to 2022 when Boldbird Studios included it as one of their projects. I have made the strategic decision to shelf Picaroon for the time being to ensure it eventually receives the resources and experience it deserves. I also continue to produce handmade posable art dolls under the brand RichCreationsArt.
